Both the Ridge Grappler and Toyo Open Country R/T will be great for the street. Looking at their websites it looks like the 18" wheel version of them are E rated while their 17" counterparts are D rated. Maybe something to keep in mind for sidewall compliance on the road.
I'm rocking 37x12.50 17...
So you ask a question that's been beaten to death on not just Raptor forums, but also on F150 forums because they all share the same cab.
You get thrown on the defense by the first response. Sure, I get it. The moonroof is broken and its a pain in the ass. We've all been there.
I give you some...
Under as in layers, if you can't infer that I don't know what to tell you. Pull all your panels, try not to break 11 year old plastic and replace the broken pieces and never use it again.
If you've seen videos on how to do it, that's about it. Trucks been out for 11 years the process hasn't magically changed.
The Moonroof is under the headliner and the headliner is under all the other trim.
Try not to break any plastic trim while doing it is all I can say
If it doesn't turn out to be anything cv axle or hub related that sounds just like when my tires were rubbing on the inner fender liners.
It would only happen after being on the highway, but the wind would blow them back and they would rub and make noise. Stock tire size they did it and by the...
I am, currently on 2+ fiberglass with a solid amount of trimming and 37" Toyo MT. I really like Icon's approach to beadlocks.
I haven't lost a bead and I've only had 1 pin leak and it was so slow it would lose 10psi over a few days, quick oring swap and they're good.
That's a picture of the...
For what it's worth. My truck rubbed with stock wheels and K02s and when I went to Icon wheels (not zero offset but very close) it still rubbed just a little further out the fender.
To clarify by rubbing I mean marking up the inner fender, not doing any harm to anything.
It's all pretty fun around Mammoth. Going East you can stay in Owens River Valley and play around on tons of connected little trails and fire roads. You can go way farther if you want.
Heads up, even when I first went out there stock width I pinstriped my truck from rocker to mirror height the...
Hey guys, DMs returned. Sorry didn't see my notifications
These shocks are part of the icon rear kit. They bolt into stock shock mountings and allow for more travel, so if you have the icon bumpstop kit you pull a little spacer and get more up travel to match the down travel. I'm pretty sure...
I'm selling my rear RXT shocks from my gen 1. Went shocks through the bed so these are no longer needed.
I accidentally damaged a hose while I had them off the truck so I rebuilt them.
The shocks have less than 5k miles since new and 0 on current rebuild. Also with shocks are some LGE-CTS upper...
I did my Icon 3.0 fronts last year, they weren't too bad. I'm about to crack into my rears before I sell them so they're fresh. If you've done other shocks they're nothing crazy.
Different Generation, but I had a somewhat similar issue on my truck. Ended up being the inner tie rod delrin was messed up and was allowing a little slop.
I found by accident going from a trail to road to trail when I left the truck in 4h and it actually felt better. I always figured it maybe...
Read through this on BLGT.
Love the plates for the frame you made, I'm gonna try to do something similar when I get off my ass and throw shocks through my bed.
Did you get your IBPs up front? Bitchin truck man
My RST 18 rack just came in so I'm getting rid of the rack I currently have. The rack is made by me, I'm a plumber by trade so the rack is all 1 1/4" sch 40 pipe (free to me).
I've had it for 2 years and it's been pretty dam good. I would change tie down points if I could do it again, but it...
I made a cheap mid-ship mudflap. Hoping it will help with roost, in reality it'll probably fall off at the first rock and poke a hole in one of my rear tires.
They are always a beadlock, but there isn't a ring.
I have these on my Gen 1, I've had them for a year and a half.
I'm not nice to any of my equipment. Never had a leak from the wheel itself, only tires.
I like em, I'd recommend them.
