My passenger seat seems to jerk back and forth when I brake or accelerate. It's very annoying to my wife who has a bad back. I've taken it to the dealer and they said nothing was wrong and it's normal.

Do others notice the seat jerk a little forward or back? It's not terrible, but definitely annoying.

I tried to look under it to see if something was loose, but nothing looked loose. It just seems to have some play in the mechanism.

Yeah I have the same issue. I took it to the dealer and it will have to replace the rails that the seat sits on. For me it was not covered under Warranty so I will be doing this repair myself.

Hmmm.... I'm having the same issue. I've told the dealer and they said it had to do with my harnesses. Which was b/s cause the harness is mounted to the seat belt bolt, not the seat rails or mounting points.

I can make the seat move, but can't see where the movement is coming from.

Mine started rocking back and forth after some ****** rode with me at TRR @Jimbo. Just had to get under the seat and tighten the mounting bolts up.

I actually had to loosen the bolts, as you wouldn't keep moving your hand back and forth.

Yep same issue. I think it's the bushings on the seat rails. Strange because no issue on the drivers side even though that seat is used 10x as much.

So glad I found this thread. I always hear the seat move a tad bit forward or back when I have a passenger. My girl never heard it or felt it until I pointed it out. I removed the seat when I installed sound deadner and hoped that would fix the problem but it did not help.

Guess I will replace the seat rails and hope that fixes it because I cannot find where it is loose at.

I have the same issue with my driver's seat. Stealership said I needed new rails. Cost for repair about 1K. I said later and can live with it....

Holy shitballs! A $1000 to fix seat rails? Have you checked tightness on all of the hardware? Seems like doing that or even replacing the rails yourself would be the way to go. These dealerships seem to not understand that those kinds of costs are just way out of reality......
