Need help! Vehicle locked up!

yes, if the battery is dead, the key will still be difficult to unlock. I thought I was going to break my key off.

Sounds like a external dc outlet would be an appropriate mod.

I assume that when you manually unlock a truck with no power, you are also turning the door lock actuator.

Yea I thought I was going to break my key off in the door. I turned it back and forth slowly and it eventually turned over. The first couple of times of trying the key in the door, it would not budge at all. So hopefully this will help somebody if this happens to them.

What? No the key lock on the drivers door is mechanical not electrical sounds like you need to lube the key hole if it's stiff.....
