[/COLOR]I have no idea why this repeated itself?

Your reply reminds how often I see the "check fuel inlet" or is that "check your ******* fuel inlet" display on my truck monitor (over & over). Come on FORD, do we really think owners like funnel banging their vehicles. Hell my wife told me the other day I bang my Raptor more than I bang her.... (Well, I can't deny that)

I'm having the same problem but this is my 2nd go around with this issue, but this time it's out of warranty since I almost have 50K mi on my 2011. I took it in yesterday but they were unable to test it correctly since I had a full tank of gas. Hopefully by Friday I'll have a half a tank & they'll be able to test it correctly. I told the mechanic we know damn well it's the capless fuel filler system so why not press on with replacing it. He went through standard BS answer..., I really didn't want to hear. So I said okay I'll bring it back on Friday (my day off) with less than a half a tank...

It sounds like it's time for me to get involved, Blind1. Send over your details in a PM, and I'll get to work. When writing, be sure to include your full name, best daytime phone number, VIN, current mileage, and servicing dealership.

I'm seem to have resolved my issue with the fuel inlet. Actually my Son whom has an older Fusion sent me a you tube video on how some of them have resolved this issue.

It was pretty simple, you basically funnel bang it for about 30Xs, then spray with a can of compress air, and spray it with WD40 as well, & then funnel bang it about 30 more times. Spray it again with compress air and be sure to wipe the residue off. Disconnect the negative terminal on the battery to clear the Check Engine Light Code. So far so good, I have put about 400 more miles on my Raptor & no Check Fuel Inlet warning or Check Engine Light has displayed.

I still feel like a Dork funnel banging my truck. I think my Neighbors are walking around with a petition to evict me from the subdivision....
