Hmm sounds like a lot of wirng , I was just going to use the sony amp and then the 2 wires coming from the front door speakers and use them on the kicker speakers . I know they are a different set up but I think that even them in place over factory will be better then whats in there .

Yeah I would rather not do more wiring. Report back with sound quality when you install! I'm sure it sounds better than the stock even without the stock tweeters.

Hey so i was just checking the f 150 forum and a guy hooked up his kicker sub and actually left in the sony sub as well for a SCAB. Any thoughts on this and far as sound quality... I wasnt planning on relocating my jack anyways so i wonder if this would be worth it? Still just tap the kicker into the sony harness and run the power wire and ground for the kicker....

Anything??? Does the sub have its own dedicated amp ? Or does leaving it hooked up take away power from the door speakers?

Installed today. Sounds awesome. Like everyone has said 10x better than stock. I have had several high end stereo systems in my last truck that were 2k systems. For $500 or less this setup is for sure worse it. You won't find. A stereo shop to get you this quality for that price. Like everyone has said the install wasn't too bad. I haven't seen to many SCABS on here. I ran my wiring through the driver side. I'm still curious if leaving the stock sub would be worth it.

Installed the speakers they sound way louder and hit the highs really crisp. I used to run the Sony on like 4-6 treble and it screams on that now. I turned treble down to 1. I've noticed the best sound overall is bass 0 mid 1 treble 1. Let me know what other sound settings you guys try that sound good for any type of music.
