Rust coming through on my rocker panels on my 2010. Figured it was only a matter of time. Damn salt on the roads. Going to sand the rust down to bare metal, and rhino line over it. Not a good fix but a band aid for now. Plan to get rid of the truck possibly in a year or so.
Any one else have some rust on the body yet?

Got rust coming through on the rockers as well.

When you take it to bare metal, you should apply a rust primer.

On the roof just above the wind shield. Hopefully, it doesn't rust through before the 2018's come out.
Roof?!?!?! How's that happen?

It's my dd, I assume it's from driving on salt covered roads and having shit kicked up on these crappy Mass highways.

Pull the tape off the back side of the rocker panel and flush out with lots and lots of clean water. There are several drains on the bottom of the pinch weld where the water should come out. Keep flushing it until the water coming out of the drains is clear. Check out this thread on the matter: http://www.fordraptorforum.com/f5/rusting-raptor-rocker-panels-37262/

Once you get the rockers cleaned out like @13raptorcrew explained, blow the water out with some compressed air, let them dry for a few days, then coat the inside with Amsoil MPHD. Let the MPHD dry a few days, then reapply foil HVAC tape or Gorilla tape.

Order a case of it from @Chris@FreedomMotorsports.

Also, where is the rusting the worst?

What kind of floor mats are you using?

Sanded it all down, prepped and coated with spray urethane sealer.
I keep my rockers rinsed and never put tape back on. Helps keep them dry with more open air.
Looks great now.
Love the perks of running a ford body shop lol. Tons of stuff ready and at my disposal.

I sure am glad I live where they don't use salt on the roads. An ounce of prevention is worth a pound of cure as they say. Good luck...
