I forget what you are running now. I don't think the generals work well in ice rocks yes but there is a lot of sand up there as well. I would still run a snow or all season type tire since the tread compound on the mud type tries would be to hard in the cold.

The good news is that the snow is coming, we need consistent cold and a north west wind to get the lake effect snow going. Lake effect snow bands can put down 5-12 inches in a few hours so there is still hope to get stuck on dishno road!!!

I am set to run my Goodyear Dura Trac set unless it stays icy then I may pull the trigger on a set of Nokia LT2 snows.

Yea a serious lake effect snow can drop 5+ Feet in just a couple days Ask Buffalo how that worked out for them last season Since the lake is not frozen what normally would be a light snow storm can drop record amounts of snow. Its definitely a late start but until the lake freezes over they are a prime target for being dumped on.

I have snow about 3" and talk of another 3 to 7

South Dakota Snoball as an alternate? I'm in!!!
