I will not have pics ready until next week when we start assembling them, but I wanted to get the thread started so I could answer questions about our new oil Dipstick.

Red Powdercoated 6061 aluminum Handle
Stainless Steel "Spring"
Stainless Steel Sinker

It's a really good looking and indestructible replacement for the plastic dipstick. The sinker where you read the oil level has through holes that make reading the level very clear.

Glad to answer any questions you have, I will have photos next week.

This is the downstem for the oil pan on a 6.2L Raptor with our new Dipstick installed. Because of all the bends in the tube, the stainless 'spring' we use for the length of the stick is perfect.

What is wrong with the existing dipstick on the 6.2L?

I know on the 5.0L in the regular F-150's the dipstick location was terrible and can see that one being improved.

Make a decent dipstick for the Raptor transmission and FRF will beat a path to your door.

We'll definitely check it out.

This one is just better. You don't need it really, but when you use one you will probably see why people want them. It looks good, and it is easier to use.

Needs a flexible tube... I've smashed 3 in the past with the engine torquing and I've bn unable to route the hard stock one a better direction... Also it's a huge pita to replace to the stock one on my rig. Plus I know other folks who've had similar experiences.

That is an interesting idea. That is kind of amazing that you are rocking the engine that hard. Have you had to replace the whole tube or just bend it?

3 whole new tubes. Torqued it back to the drives side last time and hit some electrical stuff on brake booster causing bizarre computer issues but that's awhole another thing. It's possible at moments that I drive harder than the most common raptor owner HOWEVER I do know several people who have pinched the dipstick tubes. Would've saved me a ton of time / and(or) money if someone had a flexible dipstick a couple years ago.
