You can not compare a V6 with an inline6.
The inline six can be made to run as smooth as a turbine; the V6 will always we unbalanced.

Isn't it so that you switch to manual in those cases ?

I switch to manual a lot in my car (peugeot 308sw 1.6HDI)
Just because it smother then pushin the paddle and having it downshift all the time.

I love my V6! The smoothest power plant I have ever owned! Porsche knows how to make them BUT Ford will not design and build at that level.

Wow I could had a V8 this morning. No wonder I'm dragging ass today.
