Good question. I'll be picking up the stock sub from my mechanic's place on tuesday and I'll have a look and update the thread.

I believe only 2010 trucks had the amp (for the sub) attached to the sub. I was told that on the later models, the amp was relocated to somewhere behind the dash??

This is where I get confused. If true, this new Kicker system would add a second amp to the sub? Maybe we need to check with Noah.

What I can confirm is that on my 2010 I do have an amp attached to the sub box.

only the 2010 has a second amp on the sub. all others, the amp is under the center console. they did away with the 2 amp setup and its 1 amp for everything.

Ok folks, after scouring the internet for the kicker upgrade for the Screw, I finally found one. Only 1 left now. I called Fairway Ford Today, they have none left for the Screw's. He said a lot of People missed out on getting one . I found this one at a different Ford dealer with a Ebay store. The picture in the ad shows a sub for the Scab, but the part number matches up to the Screw. I called and verified that this one does have the built in Amp.

So I hope this helps someone out. Here's the link.

Thanks Rob. I googled it to death last night and couldn't find it in that price range. At $600+ I'm thinking of getting a quote for upgrading the entire speaker setup from a local guy.

Oh I know! I googled for 4 hrs trying to find it. I called around, nothing to be found. Then my Son found this one. I wasn't sure it was the right one until I called them.
Just keep looking. One will turn up. For $600 I would think a local Stereo shop could do something nice.

Just installed the Ford/kicker soundgate sub in my personal 2014 screw w/Sony nav. Got it for $289.99 thru eBay. Took about 30 minutes to install and I'm not even a sound guy, but I do have everything needed readily available and know my way around these trucks well.

For the price, this setup rocks! Should've came this way from the factory. Pairs well with the rest of the Sony speakers. I never had plans to upgrade the sound system, it was good enough for my needs/wants (prefer to spend my money on other mods), but always had wished for a little more boom. This sub fills that hole that was missing from the OEM.

Have I heard way better full speaker/sub setups? Yes. But they also cost full setup price. For approx $300 you cannot go wrong with this sub. Especially if you do not plan on upgrading anything else.
