So was the drone still gone once you installed the straight pipe?

I had once made a straight pipe for the system and it sounded great...except once agin for the drone I took it off. I'm assuming sound deadening your meaning inner cab stuff?

IMO, I no longer have a issue with drone. If you liked the straight pipe sound, have one fabbed up for use with the helmholtz res, if you still think there is drone swap in the borla resonator in addition to the helmholtz. I had the helmholtz resonator added to the long tube portion of the ARH. Go back and check the pics again reference. The reason for me doing this was to get the resonator as close up front as possible and to be able to swap the borla resonator in and out with a straight pipe.

As for sound deadening, you are correct, I was referring to "inner cab stuff". Here is a pic for reference.

Please let me know if you have any more questions. We are all hear to help each other.

Thanks so much for the help. I was great seeing pics, couldn't believe we have the exact same setup! Thanks again

@Rookie
I don't know why stainless works doesn't make this an option to add to the X-pipe for the Ford Raptor.

Hell, I already published the design drawing for it. Lol...

Thanks for the feedback and drawings. It sounds like you guys are really thrilled by the results of the modification. We are going to discuss this further with our R&D department and see if we can make this an option. I'll keep you posted.

Jason,

I got your PM as well, but wanted to respond here. I feel if you're able to figure this out and offer this for your setups, not just limited to the Raptor, but across the board (where fitment allows). I think you'd have HUGE success by incorporating this and resolving the drone issue and likely get business out of it as your "drone free" systems hit the market.
