Help.

My 14 rap screw is doing something weird.
The auxiliary fan comes on sometimes right after start up, I mean within 10-30 seconds.
Now it is warm out in the desert of calif, but the truck had not been started in over 24 hours. I only have 4900 miles or so and im wondering if this is normal with these or if others have had the same issue.
That fan is really loud at idle while in park, which caught my attention.

If it's REALLY LOUD, it could be that the A/C is not working correctly. This happened to me, it turned out to be a valve in the high pressure line which was replaced under warranty at around 70k miles.

I posted my problem here: http://www.fordraptorforum.com/f5/how-cold-your-air-42994/index3.html

There are other thread which talk about the truck sounding like a hovercraft also.

Hi DINODNA,

Since it's concerning you, it might be wise to make an appointment for your dealer to check things out. If you need any additional help from my neck of the woods, just say the word.

Yes, it is normal for the fan to run on high when there is a reason for it to. However, it's not normal for it to run on high whenever the A/C is running. I would turn the A/C on and you could hear my fans running from across a mall parking lot, it sounded like a jet plane was taking off.

My fan is really loud even if it has been sitting for 8 hours indoors with an ambient temp of 90 degrees.

TheJoker-- Did this completely fix your problem?
