So... What do you think about the new Raptor?

I am buying one, trading the Lincoln Navigator on a Supercrew this way I can keep my Shelby and have a new Raptor, I am excited about it

I like it overall. I do think it could have used more flare in the fenders and I'm not sold on the sharper lines, but they had to make it different looking from the current Raptor, but still look aggressive so all in all, I think they did good. Following up the first Raptor is a tough job.

V6...I'm not against it, but I want to drive it first.

Paddle Shifters...yes please. I think that will make it so much better to drive.

Interior...I really like it, but hopefully there will be an all leather option (I don't like the fabric portion in the current Raptor since dirt always finds its way in there.

Overall I really like it.

The new Raptor is stunning... Sorry folks I definitely think it looks better than the gen 1 model. That's my objective opinion.

I'm getting one.

Don't you hate when you read all this new raptor stuff and that it's mostly by people who joined the forum in the last couple weeks lol... They haven't even driven/owned the first raptor but they think their entitled to give some comparison between the new one and the first gen. Get a raptor first and then come back on here and introduce yourself and your truck like we all did... Can't wait to hear back from y'all late 2016 [emoji4]

Relax man. I've always been a fan of the Raptor since inception. I just happen to like the new one so much that I plan on getting one. I've owned nothing but Fords my whole life. It's just a forum. And I really like the Gen 1 Raptor.

I wouldn't be so quick to lump all "new" forum peeps into one commode. Personally I just joined the forums and don't own a gen 1. I have a 2012 F150 Platinum. However, I'd be willing to bet I've got more miles put in on the gen 1 than the vast majority on here, since I drove it on the southern border in the desert for my J.O.B. (and we worked 10 hour days minimum). In fact prior to the Raptor's release, I tested a SORV (Severe Off Road Vehicle) for Ford. I had to send back weekly reports/evaluations to them. It looked like a monster truck in appearance (easy to roll with such high center of gravity) and even had a compressor in it and a cable that came out of the rear bumper to inflate your tires when you were ready to leave the desert.

As for the new one, I will reserve judgment until I get to drive the new one. I'm planning on trading in my platinum for the new one. However, I will say that I love the pics of the inside of the truck. I will be curious to hear how it sounds and how the V6 handles when it's really punished.
