Alright, back home in one piece and ready for a little decompression from the whole build.

Essentially up until thursday the 16th, Sean and I were on a run of about 16-18 hour days for two weeks straight to make the event, and as many of you know, we ended up pulling it off. When we got to the event, we weren't going to run it because of the mud and having zero test time on the truck. Well with me being me and seeing how much fun everyone was having, I said screw it, lets go for a lap and see what happens.

I started off on the back half of the track first. I was a bit timid for the first couple of turns and then said to myself wait a second, this thing isn't my daily driver anymore so why not just push the loud pedal and see what happens. after the very first bump Sean and I looked at each other and said oh, this is gonna be fun. The trucks turning is insane, and the amount of traction from the 4 link setup and grooved 39's was nuts. I was able to do the first hill climb pinned in second gear with zero issues. For the rest of the lap we were picking our spots to open it up and backing it down in spots that play havoc on brakes and steering. All-in-all, I cant begin to say how happy I am with how the truck worked. The power from Rasco's motor creation was noticeable on the top end and the sound from the Black Widow Exhaust was intoxicating.

The suspension out of the box felt decent, We definitely need to get the rear rebound dialed in more and possibly play with another spring rate combo. If weather permits we will be heading to the desert this weekend to really see how the truck handles the big holes and get some much needed video.

The only hicup we ended up having was a small barb fitting in the factory fuel pump break off somehow. It took us about 2 hours to chase down the problem and we were able to get it back up and running for the wild animal tour.

I really cant explain how happy I am with the truck. I have some minor fender well paneling to finish and one back wall panel to complete, powder the rear-end and swaybar llinks but other than that, the truck is running great and ready to go on as many runs as possible.

Thanks again to everyone involved and especially all of you who have followed along with my build.

Here of the pics of the truck 95% complete

Likewise Jim. Wish we could have been there sooner, but better late than never.

Truck looks great and the bed looks really clean. Looking forward to getting out together.

Was great seeing you guys push and make it out, albeit late. Getting there was all that mattered, and considering all the kinks you guys ran into, you guys did great. That truck is an absolute beast. That fuel pump issue sucked, stupid little kinks like that always seem to pop up on custom builds. At least we had zip-ties!! :ROFLJest:

I WILL get a ride next time!
