Anyone ever experience rotational squeak from the passenger rear? I took the truck into Ford (35.5k miles) and they said it was my rear brakes. The replaced my rear pads and turned the rotors. After about a week the squeak is back. It drives me insane! Everytime the wheel makes a rotation I get a squeak. Any ideas?

Should I just keep taking it back to the dealer?

Before I get asked;

I have offroaded my truck lightly and haven't done anything terrible to it except dent my front skid.

Now I am over my 36k warranty

Thanks for the inputs,
MattyO

I've got the same thing, I've been replacing pads and rotors and it still somehow comes back.

I know you guys said it is a rotational squeak ... but just in case:

I had a very annoying squeak coming from the rear of my truck. It was more of a vibrating squeak than rotational. Any way, I finally found that a little white lithium grease applied to the side tailgate latch solved my problem.

Good luck and I hope you find it. I know my squeak was driving me nuts!

Thanks, I gave it a look and applied some grease but no change.

Any other ideas out there????

Did you ever figure this out? I seem to have this squeak on the drivers side at low speed.

Can you replicate the sound pretty easily, Quartz? If so, it might be time to get this into the hands of your dealer. How many miles are on your truck?

Yes it occurs frequently, the truck has 54,000 so I'm guessing I need new brake pads. I'll have the dealer check it out when I bring it in for service.

Just throwing this out there. On my old 02 ford, the wheel weights placed on the inside of the rim would rub the brake dust sheild and create a rotational squeak. Just a thought.

Just following up on this. I still hear the squeak to this day. I will look at wheel weights though.
