Most folks might already know this, In my day job I work in the oil industry. We are currently on strike so this leaves me with free time which leaves me with more time to make stuff. We've had the guys at the shop working hard to pump out stuff and decided to make up a couple DIY kits and price them down so that each package could be affordable for those wanting to do some custom lighting.
The first package is the basic interior foot well lighting. This is a multi color set up that gives you the option of several colors along with the music control. This is the set up comes with a 12v plug for power, 4 multi color strips made in our shop with a heavier duty 3m VHB tape and remote control system.

It's improved by the fact you don't have the LED mounted in the plate and can remove plate and rubber inserts for cleaning with out fear of destroying anything.
