Grille painted matte black??

Yeah but I want something that will stand up to rocks and bugs. About to have my bumper done with linex.


I'll have a thread up in about an hour or so on what I did with plenty of pictures for reference.

Did you do just the FORD in black and leave the rest of the grille stock grey? I have thought about doing this since I don't want to take the fender flares off. I have kind of grown to like the grey on my black truck too. Goes good with the badges and once I Line-X my front and rear bumper there won't be to much grey.

Yes, the rest of the grill is still grey. My number inserts are grey so I wanted it to match that and my wrap

Dated thread, I know. I'm surprised guys haven't used the Krylon Fusion. I've painted a bunch of PVC rod tubes that get beat to hell. Not one chip down to the white PVC. Plastic lawn chairs through wintertime, etc. maybe I'll try it and be the first.
