Most of these discussions are in threads that started 3 to 4 years ago, so your going to have to use the forum search tab.

Not enough 6.2L Raptors out there to inspire the market to go at it like the CobraJet engines.
If Ford would announce there going to continue the 6.2L for 2017 then we might see more stuff.
But I'm not holding my breath.

The real issue is that the 6.2L was never in a performance platform. It was exclusively a truck engine. Maybe if Ford had done something like the lightning and used the 6.2L, instead of the Tremor with the ecoboost.
Which is too bad, considering the "777" development/Roush motor that was campaigned in a Mustang for NMRA.

The most important thing for aftermarket development for the new Raptor, is that the "new" 3.5EB is similar enough to the one in the GT that stuff carries over and/or it goes in the Mustang.

Can't wait to hear your thoughts...

Ok. Great :) I will start my own thread in the next little bit once I take some photos to get it all rolling and not ***** this one. Thank you so far for not booting me out because I don't have a Raptor lol. From what I see this is more of an enthusiast forum..... the regular F150 forums I am part of really are not. More just a place to come complain and talk about adding bigger tires and mudflaps...... not my cup of tea. I want to post an engine build in a place that might appreciate it.... versus tell me I should have bought an Ecoboost by someone that couldn't tell their turbocharger from their a/c compressor.

Thanks again!

@SilentShooter will also be interested in this. Keep us in the loop! Oh yeah, :flipthebird: your normal F150.

Lol. Yeah I figured. I will even post a pic or 2 of the truck...... even if it is a lowly FX4 lol. But hey... at least I have the same powertrain as a Raptor...... and I added the third brake light from a Raptor because the marker light part on my truck was plug and play. Oh..... and a 6.2 badge on the tailgate! I know..... some loser upbadger huh lol. Guess I could have used a GM 6.2 badge to hurt less feelings!

I actually own 2 6.2 powered F150's..... and the other one is an oddball. It's just a cheapo XLT supercab 6.5' bed 4X4. It has nothing more than a tune and the black Raptor version of the MBRP 3.5" catback. I use it for work. It has the Raptor third brake light, 6.2 badge on the tailgate...... and might get a set of the black 17's..... we shall see. I am not trying to be a wannabe..... if a Raptor would work for what I do I would have bought at least one lol.
