So it's there a new shorter cable? I wish the current one was adjustable.

I was mentioning about the 2012 cable being too long and non adjustable to the service adviser and he said that it is adjustable, but they are ordering a new one.
So is the cable adjustable or non adjustable?

P.S. they sent my new wheel over to Honda to have it mounted.

Edit: Nevermind. I went to a local auto shop and they fixed it for $20. Turns out there's an adjustment for the parking brake right behind the wheel. I'm never going to the dealership again. Nothing but a waste of time with those clowns.



Can someone tell me how our parking brake works? Mine isn't working at all. If I'm on a hill in neutral, push the parking brake pedal all the way to the floor and let go of the regular brake, the truck starts rolling down the hill. Of course I always shift the transmission to park, however, it seems my parking brake is completely non functional.

I know some of you say it's not necessary to use the parking brake, but I have also heard otherwise and I don't know who to believe.

I just got back from the dealership and they could not find a problem. So they said the problem must be my aftermarket Baer brake calipers and pads. I pointed out that the rear wheels have a drum brake in addition to the disc brakes and they said the parking brake system relies on both not just the drum brake. Are they telling the truth or is it just the usual dealership BS?
