So I read this thread before and was leary about going through an automatic car wash to the point I avoided it. Nothing beats hand washing, but when it snows every other day the salt was getting quite thick. So I decided today to find out for myself if my truck would fit in the Kwik Trip car washes near me. I was able to run in between other cars getting washed and measure the track and found it to have 2" to spare. Measure twice and cut once and low and behold it fits! Time to get it dirty again!

After I got mine I took it to the car wash I used for the FX4 and we measured the truck and the tracks of the car wash. it fit so we ran it through.
This is a regular car wash mind you, with brushes and things that touch the truck. only that doesn't work right is the Tire shine, only about 3/4 of the tire gets hit.

Since I owned my Raptor, I have never taken it through an automatic carwash. Its a pain but always at home or in a wash bay and I do use the soap brush they provide after I inspect it and spray it out. Does it cause scratches?, probably but so does off-road pinstriping. I never cared less about paint on such an expensive vehicle before in my life but then again I've never had this much fun either.

I finally found one that I fit in. I use it because it's the only way to blast the underside. If you think I'm getting under the truck to blast it off you cray cray.
Find yourself one off the newer 'brushless' car washes. The one near my house works great for the light stuff, but when it gets dirty like it did driving back home from Vegas last week, I have a car wash that will 'hand wash' the beast for $35.
