I got the Hero 4 black for Christmas as well. So far I like it, it is my first one. I have clamped it to my bumper and took it up to 100mph. Video was very good and took the back off so the sound of Kooks headers and exhaust would sound good. I also use mine for fishing trips.

One thing I've learned is that a good perspective is hard to capture. I played with a lot of mounting locations this year so I guess we'll see how they turn out.

It's really easy to lose the sense of speed. I have a sticky mount behind the rear view mirror, which captures a good shot-just everything looks slow.

I've also done suction cup to the rear bumper, tail light and headlight with decent results, but, it was at times where there wasnt the same risk as SnoBall of using the bumpers.
