I have a hero 4 black and I'm not sure it's worth the price difference (it was a Christmas gift). I still run it at 1080 and I think it looks equivalent to the 3+ black or whatever it was called. My laptop won't even play the 4k video. iMac will but what good does 4k do if I can't watch it in everything?

1080p frame rate 60 wide and mounted on the go pro suction mounts right on the hood. If had them hold through the roughest and fastest terrain, the are amazing.

Also these are the black 4 models, there is a slight difference.

I'm down to just the Hero2 I've had since like 2009. I had a Hero3 Black, but, it flew off my car at ~160 never to be seen again.

I rarely use it with the truck as the video looses the sense of speed from being so high up and it's always kinda boring looking, imo.

I used it a lot when I owned the Evo.

I've so far not felt the need to buy another new one.

I wouldn't have bought one on my own. When I opened it from my wife at Christmas I smiled and said I loved it. Lol.

One thing I've learned is that a good perspective is hard to capture. I played with a lot of mounting locations this year so I guess we'll see how they turn out.
