From what I've read, the phoenix is the successor to the gt, but wont be a retro design. The gt and gt40 is just to show the performance history. The raptor teaser will be the full truck, supposedly a pre-production but sources say its pretty much dead on.

Who are your "sources"?

Just read this - of course - take with a grain of salt...

"...Exterior design will be upgraded and will not be too similar to Ford’s model F-150. The new 2016 Ford F-150 Raptor will have their own style, which will be complementary to his ******* features. As already mentioned the car had a test drive but was well camouflaged, it is difficult to discover all the details of the new edition. The company has not made a final decision on the design of vehicles, but designers are working hard on every detail, in order that the car blew away its competition."

I think this just means the fenders and so on, just like our current Raptors. I don't think Ford will change too much because of cost. They still need to mass produce and keep the trucks in the same blood line of some sort. Unless they plan on charging north of $65-70k, I wouldn't expect anything too extreme. But maybe they'll include air bumps (Thats a good dream right).

Will be interesting to see what they come up with, but with the prices of basic XTRs around here I can imagine the price of the Raptor will be quite high.
