Knock off 20" Amber light bar?

Because:

1. I already had the 20" Rigid mount mounted.
2. I don't want my support looking like swiss cheese.
3. It was posted by Olympus Off-road that it would fit the Rigid mount.
4. If you use the supplied mount, the mounts will end up being well behind the bumperlets.
5. The supplied mounts are not near as robust as the Rigid mount.

Your post tells me that Olympus Off-road will say anything to make a sale, and then just say anything to try to get a customer to not return the product. Great customer service!

I'm sorry but that is not valid. We've had lots of customers use other companies(Rigid included) to mount our lights. This is the first time someone posted that the Rigid 20" mount does not fit.

You're only 2 posts have been bashing us, are you a member on any other forum showing the light you previously had mounted with the Rigid lower bumper bracket? The Rigid mount doesn't make the light stick out farther than the mounts the lights come with.

We have great customer service but haven't received anything from you to our email address about this issue. I have been on this site for 3 years and many other customers/friends can vouch that I am available almost all times of the day.

My first post was not bashing you. I simply stated that your 20" dual color light bar will not fit in a rigid 20" mount as stated earlier. I was really excited for your product and price, and I ended up disappointed that I couldn't use it. Then the other poster stated "Just use what it came with". What difference does it make how many posts I have? Facts are facts, there is no way anyone has mounted this using a 20" inch rigid mount, unless they cut it in half and added an inch of material to it.

I suggest you post some pics.

Because without proof...

Paying vendor's word > yours

Sadly I can confirm this. I still haven't had a chance to install my bumper or light, but I went down and attempted to get my 20" dual row/color into the mounts on my new ADD venom and it is about an inch too long to fit inside of it.

I was hoping the nub, for lack of a better term could be grinded down but the threads wont be deep enough for that to work. Should be an interesting install !

I can confirm that the 20" dual row/color light bar is longer than the rigid so it won't slide between the supports. I'm sure it'll add a few minutes to my install, but every nonrigid owner I know has had the same 'problem' so I would have been surprised if it slide right in. Some are obviously easier fixes than others though.


I really don't believe that Olympus did anything intentional to just get a sale. I mean why would they send me a lightbar to review knowing it wasn't gonna fit in my rigid mount?

Until all other options have been exhaust I'd personally return the rigid mount over the lightbar.

Pry the bracket 1/2" wider. Honestly that's not that big of a deal. I had a similar issue when I bought my 20" light bar off Amazon. I also used Rigid's bracket. All you have to do is pry it open just a little bit so it slides in.

Sounds like a simple solution, Thanks!

I tried prying the mounting bar. Except its not 1/2 inch off. It's a full inch. I was just trying to save future customers some time, by informing them that this won't fit a standard 20" mounting bracket. I thought that was the purpose of any online forum, the sharing of information and knowledge. I guess here, the paying vendor is always right, not the customer.

The pictures means a thousand words.

Everyone can make accusations and bash anyone but to bring proof to the table means you're not just another troll.

I've had the same issue with another vendor on mounting points that were welded onto a bumper..
