Yeah that is a nice Dodge, probably fast too, but at the end of the day I'll be driving a Raptor and you'll still be driving a Dodge.

When you buy a Raptor new.
"no honey we don't need an extended warranty. It's just to expensive. This truck is built Like a brick shit house and is way better than any old regular pickup. It's an SVT."
1 year later when the warranty is up because you've been driving the **** out of it.
"Ah hell. Honey we should have bought the extended warranty. I'm going to have to buy some new shocks for the truck. I think these are bad." I'm sure they aren't that much."
"The tires are warn out also on the truck honey and I think the stock wheels might need new bearings put in them. Yea that costs a lot of money but it's cheaper to just buy some after market wheels to go with the new tires. Yea don't worry. Discount tire has a payment plan."
"Damn. Honey the muffler has a hole in it. No you didn't see me under the truck with a drill. I was trying to fix it but it got louder. I can find out what a new muffler will cost."
" ok I called my buddy at the exhaust shop and he said he can do it for $750 bucks. What?? Honey that is cheap compared to a lot of other shops and you don't want me to get a ticket for to loud of exhaust do you?"
" What do you mean you think the new exhaust is to loud? It'll quiet down with more miles on it."
UUHHHHH? I don't know honey but I'm sure they made a mistake on the credit card receipt. Why do you want my card? I'm responsible. AHHH ok. Here it is. I'm going to desert to play with my truck."

I have always been an OCD modder... with everything I have ever driven or ridden. When I bought the Raptor, I honestly thought I purchased something I wouldn't **** with... then I started hanging out here. Shaking my head...
Early thiis week as I am opening a box:
Wife- "What's that?"
Me- "Truck parts." She didn't even bother to ask what kind.
She did ask over the weekend "So, what else are you going to do to it before we go on vacation."
My reply "Mmmmm, probably nothing. I think I am good." as the list scrolled through my head of stuff I wanted to do.
Bed graphics and Dee Zee showed up yesterday. I am likely doing the mid perch this weekend if my buddy has time to do the alignment for me.

Vacation is the time to mod the Raptor so it is easier to tow the travel trailer... I know what next years modifications are going to be, already.
Better cooling for the engine and the supercharger are definitely on the list. I can't have the truck getting warm going up the pass on the way to San Diego. I want to keep moving at 75 or 80 towing my trailer.
