I spoke with the guys at Harmon Cells They are going to make my cell with the opening set up to accept the stock Raptor plate. So all smog will still be operational and no codes will be thrown. I am going with an 80 gallon fuel cell mounted right behind the cab. I don't like the cell in the back. The variable weight makes it tough to tune suspension . . .

Give them a call. They are great guys and can make whatever you want and work to keep you legal.

Thanks!

This is my first mod to my engine.
Must say quit the difference in sound. Horsepower haven't really felt much change and MPG maybe 1 to 2 increase.

Bill, you have to detail this build, as you see there isn't a lot of info on FRF regarding this mod. I'd love to see how everything mounts and know how the final product works.

Also, you mentioned about tuned suspension, what do you currently have or looking to get?

I will post pics as soon as we get it done after the El Bandito 500 in a couple weeks. Going to pull the bed to run fiberglass bedsides and go with a 4 link set up in the back. Running the Harmon fuel cell right behind the cab. 2 spares and the jack will all be in the far back of the bed space. I am adding a new rear end from Currie so it will be the same width as the LT front end as well. I have not made a decision about what to run for brakes yet. Shocks will be Kings

I will definitely post pics once I get it done.

Thanks!

Bill

By now you all know I'm a reasonably nice guy w/ a lot of sarcastic sneer behind his words.

That said, wow what a bunch of moronic interpretations to my simple question... I thought I'd let the thread die when I realized there was no point asking since people are more interested in stupid Wraps or gaudy-Methods.

Yeah, I realize that extra weight displaces the benefit of the extended range provided by the larger tank. That said, I was looking for a replacement 50-Gal tank in place of the 36.

Whoever said I wanted 80 wtf have you been smoking? Lol, I am sure you'd make a killing selling it. And no not a tank toolbox feed system that was posted earlier as well, I fully intend on keeping my bed albeit short as it is functional.

An extra 100ish pounds shouldn't make too much of a difference on fuel mileage. I wouldn't mind a 32-35ish replacement for the scabs.
