Hopefully this is the right section for this question.

The external glass of the front side marker light is damaged, and I would like to replace it. The inside LEDs are not damaged. See the picture below to know what I am referring to. (PS: I have taken the picture from Google image search.)

Q1. Can I replace only the external glass or should I order the entire light including the LEDs inside?

Q2. Can I replace them myself and is the installation easy?

Q3. If the installation is easy, is there any thread discussing how to install it?

Thanks so much for your help!

A: I believe the housing is all one piece with the LED inside. You'd be better off just ordering the entire light.

I'm not sure how they connect on the inside but they're easy to remove and reinstall the rubber grommet takes some finesse but it's not hard. If there isn't a connector you could pull it out, cut the wires, and solder and heat shrink the new one on.

Q3. If the installation is easy, is there any thread discussing how to install it?

Not that I'm aware but if you can't figure it out I'd be happy to post pictures with better descriptions so you can see what you'd need to do.

I will go to my Ford local dealership later this week to order the entire marker light. I am in Middle East, and Raptors are rare vehicles; therefore, it will take a month or longer for the local dealer to get it from the United States. If the installation is inexpensive, I will save the headache and ask the dealership to install it.

Thanks MobileBeats for your quick and informative reply. I highly appreciate how you are willing to help others!

Fellow, it might be quicker and cheaper to order from an online vender yourself. I'm sure someone on here can provide some links.

Nice idea. I will try to locate it using Google search. I also would love to see some links here in this thread.

Thanks Backinblack for your inputs!

Its a piece of cake to change out. Remove your headlight using a 10mm socket. You can either unplug the wires from the headlight and set aside or simply wire it up so that you can reach below to the back of the marker light. Unplug the light and pop it out through the front. Replace with new light in reverse order.

I guess it is easy. I will try to change it myself.

Thanks Towerhog for these instructions!
