The Tune by SVC

Just got my tune yesterday also. Initial impression is very smooth. Not harsh at all like 5* as far as shifts go. Will post more of a review in the next couple weeks as I drive it more.

I've been on the fence about ordering a tuner for my '13. I had a 5star on my '10, but wasn't overly impressed. Today i text Jeff and within a minute he responded. Holy crap these guys at SVC are on their game. Went ahead and ordered the tuner. I'm heading to Telluride, CO next weekend so that will be my first formal test. Plenty of driving on the roads and hopefully lots of dirt as well. Full review pending my return.

Definitely interested to hear your review. I have been debating getting it myself and the only thing holding me back is factory warranty. Im bringing my truck to SVC and leaving it with them for a whole week at the end of September for quite a few mods so good chance i'll add the tune to my list especially since i'll be getting 37's. Btw, I agree that Jeff and all of them at SVC are on top of their game. Dealing with them has been nothing but great thus far. See you in Telluride

The Drive to Telluride is amazing.
Jarrett and I did the drive years ago over the Aspen To Telluride truck trail. I miss colorado.

Ordered my tune yesterday and am stoked to see the difference. Is the tune difficult to upload into the truck?

It's cake, you'll be fine. Just make sure to set global spark accordingly.

With the SVC tune, it is really simple. Connect it to the port under the steering wheel and it will guide you through the rest. You do not have to adjust any settings in this process. It just uploads and then you go out and have fun. You will notice a HUGE difference on drivability. The stock programming in these things is absolutely terrible!

I wanted to post a review on the new SVC tune. First off, I ordered late in the day on a Friday before a three day weekend. Not only did Jeff and the SVC crew ensure that my order was placed with their tuning house, but Jeff included expedited shipping to make sure I had it before I left for a weekend of offroading. Thursday morning at 930am, the tuner is on my doorstep! Amazing customer service SVC!

I have been on the fence about tuning my '13. I had a tune on my '10 from another company and was only moderately impressed. After reading so many positive reviews on the SVC tune, I pulled the trigger. I installed the tuner literally 15 minutes before I left for a 6+ hour road trip down to Telluride, CO. Having just done this same commute last month for the Colorado Raptor Run, I averaged 13.9 MPG (just on asphalt there and back home). This time around I averaged 15.5 MPG. Pretty impressive to say the least. Overall, the transmission shift points have also been dramatically improved over stock! This is how the truck should have come from Ford. It also feels faster off the line and with the pedal mashed, the truck really moves!

I am very happy with my purchase and to those of you on the fence, get off and buy one! Just the improved shift points throughout all of the gears is worth it IMO.

SVC, keep on doing what you guys do best!

So looking forward to getting mine. Should ship tomorrow.

With this tune when I use the factory off road feature to change the shift points etc. will the tune still work as intended
