I've used the duplicolor and the VHT caliper paint. The duplicolor has a nice glossy finish, but I feel it doesn't last as long as the VHT. The VHT I had was more of a matte finish and was very rugged. It had much better chip resistance and because it was not shiney like the duplicolor, it didn't show the brake dust.

I paint my calipers so that I do not have the ugly corrosion showing through my wheel, not to have my calipers "pop" with a glossy paint. This is another reason why I prefer the VHT.

I've used Rust-Oleum caliper spray paint on my trucks and my wife's Charger. Its been two years since I've done her car and it still looks new. Did my truck about 2 months ago.

I'm going with blue if I do it. Wonder if the ford header blue would be close or what it would look like or hold up.
