custom Hood Graphic group buy

Is this how it is for the stock ones? I wasn't sure.

Not too sure. I'm assuming so but I havent seen a raptor with the graphic in person. The stock one does not cover the front of the hood also, I need that part covered to hide a scratch on mine.

Well, here's another food for thought. If I could get some rough dimensions of the hood then we would know whether it had to be sectioned off or not.

Now, the BUILT FORD TOUGH part is for sure their own pieces according to Dee.

Sent Dee another email. She said the widest roll of vinyl they can purchase is 48". If the hood width and length are both below that then it can be done one piece with exclusion of the BUILT FORD TOUGH. However, she stated that it's very tough to install the one piecer.

The shop i'm dealing with will do the same thing, close to that price in a solid 1 pice of vinyle with what ever you want on it. you need a 52" roll to do the hood. and they have it in stock. let me kn ow and I'll check prices.

Thanks man. If you don't mind posting up the shop and asking them for the pricing then let's get this done. Will they also do box graphics?

That vinyl comes in 60" 3m makes it, i posted a thread a while back about hood graphics,. I can make them, i have done a few already.

It's not a square, so it takes a little more than just some dimensions.

I was selling them for 350$ as a self install kit [graphics,squeege, knife, instructions] but it does require some trimming to get it right [this way it allows a little margin of error, and can be further customized by someone if they want to.

Dee is full of shit, it's harder to line up panels. Imo. Than install 1 piece.

SDHQ, it seems this would be good. $350 seems a bit over the top for me but if you could work something out for the group that's still interested then that'd be awesome or maybe a hood and bed graphics combo. As far as the little trim work, it is a bit of concern to me. I'd rather take the time to lay it on properly than trimming the mess ups in the end.
