Black Widow Series 200 Muffler install and sound clip

Hey Guys,
I got my Black Widow Series 200 installed yesterday and I am really happy with it so far. The video doesn't do the deep sound justice but it pretty awesome in person. From inside the truck, it is a bit louder, especially under load around 2000 RPM (give or take a couple 100 RPM) but at cruise you can barely tell its there. There isn't anything that I would classify as drone or resonance really (I don't feel my head or anything in the truck vibrating) but again, under load at the 2k RPM area is definitely louder.

The muffler seems really good quality and when they say straight through, they mean it (see pic). For the install I got the series 200 muffler, Magnaflow stainless Y-pipe (3 inch "outlet" with dual 2.5 inch "inlets") and I needed about a 7 inch piece of 3 inch stainless exhaust pipe to button it all up. I plasma cut the factor hangers off the stock exhaust and was able to re-use those and I used 308 wire in my mig to weld it up.

For me it is. Its hard to tell even on my computer speakers but it sounds much much better in person. For me, it was about 180 bucks and a Saturday morning which was a heck of a lot better than 600-1200 for a cat-back, hahahaha.

I'm gonna try and get a better video with more clear sound, I think the truck being in the shop was really amplifying the sound of the engine and the fans so maybe a video outside would be better.

that why i ask, cat back is so darn expensive & doesn't seem worth the cost vs. gains

I like it. I like cheap mods that put smiles on the owners. I originally did a Flowmaster 40 but swapped it for a Borla ProXS muffler. $100 at Amazon. Sounds sooooo much better than stock IMO. And didn't have to pay for a catback.

I like the Y pipe. Nice job!

I had a Borla Pro XS 40349 muffler installed on my sons Raptor last week. I'm very satisfied so I have another Pro XS being delivered today for my Raptor. Good choice ZBoater because no need to replace factory pipes. Total cost with muffler and installation on my sons Raptor was about $164.
