Just ordered the kit and deaver+2 from Jeff! Great communication!!

Can't wait to pick them up.. any install tips? I am gonna try in my garage:cool:

Garage install isn't bad, just don't forget to install the crossmember..... It don't go in with both supports installed on the frame... Who knew. The live blog link from above was a great help also. Good luck you'll enjoy the results.

Yep either have to cut it or move the gas tank and, I just lowered my exhaust. The leafs came with 2 new bolts and u bolts.

So driver side leaf bolt has to be cut.. how about the passenger side? It looks like the exhaust is in the way too.


Nope, only driver's side. Only took 10 minutes with sawzall going slow (no sparks). I had no interferences with exhaust but mine is the kooks dual so your results may vary.

Worst part was when differential was detached from springs. It just kinda flops all over (driveshaft falls out of trans) and you will need more hands to attach the new springs and keep the diff from twisting. Not all that bad with a helper.

Stock exhaust you DO have to cut passenger side bolt off. Easier than dropping exhaust IMO.
