Mid perch why?

The mid-perch and Toyos just blew me away -- what a great look. And yes, you will need an alignment after the mid-perch.

It must be a Southern thing, both of my local dealers had no idea what a mid perch adjustment even was and no idea how to do it! I had a local mechanic do it for $150, however Ford did the front end alignment under warranty because it was off from day one! I have had my mid perch now for a few weeks and put several thousand miles on the truck, truly rides way better on mid perch.

Not sure when the OP got his truck, but I have had mine only a little longer than he has been a FRF member.

I always tell people to give it time to chew and consider how and what you intend to accomplish from a modification. Just because 90% of the forum guys go to mid perch, doesn't mean it is right for you.

Throw out the "will it void my warranty, or will I break stuff, or the ride is stiffer / better" Why do you think a mid perch will help you?

The basic information says:
You will gain some ground clearance
You will slightly change your fore aft weight distribution
You will change your ride characteristics

I put over 60,000 miles on my truck over the past 4 years I have owned it. I never adjusted the shocks from factory.... why....? It didn't fit my needs.

I didn't hit trails hard enough to need the GC, Rallycross and other things I did was sufficient.
I tow a and haul a fair bit with the truck, and the rake angle helped with the extra weight
I am cheap, why pay for a perch change and alignment when I will have to rebuild my shocks around 50k anyway. It would be cheaper and easier to just have it all done at once
If you are really considering a mid perch for offroad performance, just skip it and go to a set of pre set 3.0s... I did.

If you are looking for looks, well pull the trigger on the perch adjustment

I am sure you are a smart person, and there is plenty of data on FRF to make your decision. You're the one that will have to drive the truck
