And with one mod... I now hate driving my Raptor

The MBRP sounds great. I know a couple of Raptor owners that have the same setup and love it. I have a Flowmaster 40 series that is dumped before the axle and wondered why I dumped it just like you. Loud obnoxious drone! It only took a day or so to get used to it. Now I love it and I don't give a shit what the neighbors think at 6am. Give it some time it may grow on you. Have a buddy drive your Raptor and really get on it while your standing there listening. You might like the sound and change your mind!

Run it for 500 more miles to break it in. If that is too much you could rotate the tip towards the passenger side to lessen it a little.

I put the MBRP exhaust with resonator on my Raptor with the same results. I had the rear, side exit version specifically because it should have made it quieter. On freeway drives myself, my wife, and my two kids all got headaches from the drone. It was so bad that I didn't want to take the Raptor if we had any other choice. I tried swapping out the muffler for a Flowmaster and then a Gibson to no avail. I finally cut my losses and swapped it out for a Corsa and couldn't be happier. I like it way better than the stock exhaust and have no regrets. It sounds awesome outside the truck and it's dead silent on the inside. It's amazing.

after this and reading some other threads on the Corsa... Im going that route as soon as possible! Probably put a single tip on it instead of the duels though.

Yeah I didn't really want the big shiny Corsa tips either; I ended up using a stainless turnout from Summit to tuck the exhaust under the truck a bit. Plus the stock Corsa tip was worth a pretty penny on eBay...

Yup like other said Corsa or Borla both almost the same except for tone of the exhaust. check out you tube and see what one you like best. plus moving the exit will help so the sound waves don't keep bouncing between the road and bottom of truck. just replaced the stock muffler on my work truck and didn't get the stock tail pipe put back on as this is the second time it has come loose and ripped the muffler apart. so just got them to put down turns right after the muffler and you can notice a big difference. you can tell the exhaust is there now on the highway not bad but before you couldn't hear it.

agreed!

If you are in SoCal look at dirtydeedsindustries

I had one of these on a Tundra and am having an exhaust built by him again on my Raptor

I highly recommend Keith at DDI/BAMufflers, great guy with awesome customer service. You'll get way more bang for your buck going with him and he can custom do anything you want.

I've always had Corsa on my other rides but figured I'd save half the money and try Magnaflow. Very nice system. Great sound, no drone.

Lmao, mine drones on and on, after three hour drive last week on top of six hours touring where I was a had a head ache. Came home and told my husband "we Are not driving the truck to HHI,SC" (12 hours) " I may kill someone"

But my brothers truck uses one of those aux switches to open and close his. Maybe you can do that too?
