fwiw my first expereience with doubleAA has sucked. first his website said he had plenty of led cupholder rings. then when i order them, i dont hear anything so i contact him-i left emails, he never returned my phone calls.
he replied he was out of them and his laser cutter was broke. it would be a few weeks, so i said no worries, just cancel my order and refund my card.
i get another email saying parts are in for his laser and he can make one within a few days. when i received the box it was a large 12"x12" box and you could hear the cupholder banging around. the box was unharmed but i knew the cupholder wasnt. sure enough it was in 4 pieces........so i emailed andy pictures showing how it had no packing around it. the cupholder should have been taped between 2 pcs of cardboard since its fragile plexiglass (they should be lexan for durability and scratch resistance.) but it was thrown in the box with a small piece of bubble wrap loosely secured with masking tape...
after a few emails he replies he needs my phone number so he can file a claim with ups.
first off phone number is the same one in my email signature and the same one he has from my purchase and the same one where i set up an account on his website.
i tell him to refund my money or ill do a chargeback. i still have zero response from him........
2 why would ups need to pay for it? you did a crappy job of boxing it up.
so now i guess ill go thru the steps of a chargeback
buyers beware of Double AA
