If you want a Raptor, BUY one, don't create one from a different platform. I agree with Ruger...TOO many posers lurking...making their front grills "blacked out" with the FORD emblem. Looks retarded. On the way back from TRR my buddy and I stopped somewhere in New Mexico (I think...irrelevant where but...) we saw three F150's with Raptor wanna be BS on them...in the same parking lot.
I wanted a Raptor since I saw them released...and instead of buying a cheaper truck and doing a Frankenstein build in my driveway, I worked my ass of at sea, saved my money and bought the real thing...this thread is embarrassing to continue on. Respectfully, Lou
(Sigh, okay I am better now)
EDIT: Fine, in all fairness to Vendor ReadyLift Suspension, call it a Stegosaurus or Triceratops. The Raptor name is already created

Guys,
It's their vendor forum, I think that's what he meant. Clearly they didn't realize how touchy the subject of converting an F-150 to a Raptor is.

Remember that thousands of non-Raptor owners visit this site on a daily basis. While the usual suspects around here might not find any direct use for these products, you can rest assured that ReadyLIFT's target audience is all around us, lurking in the shadows.

Thank you BIRDMAN, that is exactly what was intended by my last post. Ruger, I would like to apologize to you personally for any misinterpretation that was had from the postings in this thread. We have received a lot of customer comments and demand for more information about products and lifts like this and many of these customers use this or other forums to get their information due to the quality discussions and ideas that are posted. I am not here to tell you or anyone what they should or shouldn't be doing on this forum. I am only here to share new ideas, products and discussion points that relate to our company and the awesomeness of the Ford Raptor.

A base F150 can be built into an awesome offroad truck without adding Raptor look alike parts, that's only going to make you and your truck look stupid.

All right. It didn't register that this was "their" part of the forum. I don't think I crossed any lines, but I likely waltzed right up to one and farted in its general direction. I think it's awfully clear that I was reacting to the approach taken, not to the product being pushed. I think it's damned arrogant for a vender (who is new here and here to make a profit) to tell the membership (many of whom have been here for years and who are here to make a contribution) what the forum is for, but that's just an opinion - one I do not back away from. I will try to be more aware of what part of the forum I'm in from now on.

And Vettn, what in the world is your avatar? Is that some kind of bizarre Amazonian saprophyte that sucks the juices out of passing alligators, or is it one of those alien "eat this and never diet again" things?

Who cares man, people can do whatever they want... I think people are getting offended for no reason...
