Pretty sure nobody was saying anything about someone with an f150 converting their truck to a raptor. Justvettn was just stating that this is a raptor forum already so most of us already have one of them there trucks.

I don't have a problem with people spending money on what they want. My issue is an advertisement perpetuating a very unfortunate (and inaccurate) stereotype that you can slap a 3rd party suspension on an F150 and call it a Raptor. More unfortunate is that there's a bunch of potential customers that actually believe this crap.

The unfortunate lack of information feeds this delusion. If one believes this, one also believes the SVT spent two years building a cool suspension that any 3rd party could copy. It just stretches reality, and people fall for it.

Do you honestly think people are duped into believing a conversion is a real raptor?

I love how the ******* get bunched every time this subject comes up.
It's a friggin Ford F150, not a Ferrari, Lambo, or anything else that will really matter years from now.
The Raptor is awesome, but honestly most of it is bolt on and easily duplicated.
Stop whining and go thrash your trucks off road as intended.
