A higher (positive, greater than +36) offset will bring the wheels IN more. A lower offset than +36 (ie. +6, 0, -12) will make the wheels stick OUT more. Here's a couple diagrams that might help: a4aguta4.jpg

Right...I get it now lol. I just talked to a company who CALLED TSW (who Black Rhino actually is) and was told YES, all their 6x135mm +30mm offset wheels will fit a Raptor...it's just they don't advertise them as such b/c they are not necessarily "MEAN" looking enough lol.

I really do like the Black FX appearance package wheels, but they will push the wheels IN by another 8MM...which is NOT much, but it's something...and the Black Rhino wheels will actually push them OUT 6mm...which again is not much, but something.

I just went outside and looked at my truck from the rear....and the tires actually stick out past the bottom of the fenders till you go up about 6-8" when they are flush, and then fit inside at their peak by a few inches...and it just doesn't look bad to me at all, but I can see how if they were pushed out a bit more that it would look mean.

I know have to REVISE my sizing plan anyway b/c the 305/50-20s will be 2" shorter than the 315/70-17s that our trucks come with...and I was not thinking about that...

Leaning towards the Everest now...

I can't help you with pictures of the fx4 wheels on a raptor, but I had the wheels on my last truck with 34.5" nitto trail grapplers. I think they would look good on a raptor, but don't want to run 20's.

I'd say, general rule, especially if you are going to be offroading, you don't want a wheel larger than 18". That's what I went with. Method mesh 18". They are an 18mm offset. Perfect in my opinion. Gives it a more aggressive look especially with toyos like I have.

Here's a picture of a Raptor with Black Rhino wheels.

If they made these wheels in a 0 offset or +6, I'd buy them. I'm talking to KMC now about a custom set of KMC Districts. I really just want a wheel that looks like the ADV5.1. But I'm not spending that kind of money on a truck that goes off-road.

I hole heartedly agree with NOT going larger than 18" for serious off roading...for the sake of your kidneys, but obviously for the sake of the poor wheel itself.

I am lucky enough to bust my a$$ in sales and I also have a 2010 Nissan Titan Pro-4X that I upgraded with Bilsteins all around and KMC Addicts...18s...with Good Year Duratracs or I can run the stock Titan 18s with Cooper Discoverer STTs...and I have a Warn 9000XDi out back on the hitch and just had a welding shop modify the front OEM Brush Guard to accept a Front Winch Connection too...so that's my (Don't cry if it gets scratchec or whatever off roader).

With that Sad since I got my Raptor last Thanksgiving the Titan needed to be jumped already b/c I HARDLY have driven it all winter lol....

So that brings me to my "thought process" for the Raptor.

I "HAD" preconceived notions that the BFG ATs SUCKED...I had em way back when on a Z71 and while they were ok for about a year...once worn just a little...they were horrific in the snow (MA & NH Winters), and sucked off road as they would cake up quick and turn to bagels...but...so far these versions seem a "little" better off road, and they were ok this year in the snow (Not great) but I am VERY pleased so far with Wet and Dry handling.

So I want a set of 20s for EVEN better dry/wet handling for Spring/Summer/Fall and then I was going to through Good Year Duratracs on the Raptor for the Winters once the BFGs wear down....

I have read MANY great reviews on the new Toyo Open Country AT IIs, but some bad too...and I would get 35 x 12.5 x 20s which come out to the same 34.4/5 our stock 315/70-17s are...but man...so many conflicting reports.

Those ADV5.1 Wheels shown out there on the White Camo and Black (mine is Black) Raptors are GORGEOUS...but like $4k right??

I like a clean 5 Star Wheel...Chevy Silverado SS wheels come to mind...and while a lesser offset (now that I know wtf that means lol) would be nicer...I think the wide tires will look good regardless on our Raptor.

The pics above are my 2nd favorite Black Rhino Wheel...the Peak...which is a 6 spoke wheel that's nice too.
