Sir,

Very interested if this is still going to be a production item. Would like the ability to hold a few long guns. Please advise timeframe.

Thanks!

Sorry it took so long to reply, the other computer I use wouldn't let me stay logged in to post. Still working on the design for the left side safe. I fitted the bottom template in a Platinum yesterday, and discovered the safe can be 39" wide with a 37" wide door. The full width box for the 2007 to 2013 GMT has been modified and I am going to try to fit it into a Crew Cab without subwoofer today. The wide box (55") is $900, the smaller box uses about 1/3 the material, but the labor will be about the same, so it will probably run around $800. These prices or on runs of ten, if I can pre sell 20, the price could go down as much as $100, and forum members still get 10% off using coupon code FRF.
Have fun this weekend if you go to the Texas Run. Be sure and bid on the console safe I donated, the money goes to a great cause.

I have the Tuffy but would be interested in something sturdier and more secure. The one pet peeve I have with the Tuffy is that the corner sticks out a bit too much. You can secure the Tuffy so you can't just unbolt it, but it requires drilling a bolt into the floor. Otherwise it uses the two exposed bolts of the seat base.
