I am ver curious how could linex compromise the quality? Maybe I am just not understanding?

Because the linex is textured it doesn't have as solid of a surface to mount to on the bottom, it's rocky and doesn't mate the same as powdercoat which is obviously as flat as possible. We just noticed it it's not a huge deal but I would never sell them linexed

I got you. Makes sense now. So if you want to linex either have it sprayed smooth on mounting face or don't spray that area at all.

Yep, and I would also leave the top portion where the light mounts flat as well. The flatter the mounting surface the better off you'll be
