Don't know if you can get a good picture with out cutting the side, I can try to take one for you from the fill neck if you want.

There shouldn't be any sloshing in there being the filter is dead center of reservoir, working like baffles in a tank truck, slowing fluid movement.
Also need a little fab skills, so it can be mounted.

No a magnafilter I just replace my whole ps delivery system. I went with RPG res. I also bought a cooler just like RPG sells except $70 cheaper.

If you look at the RPG res it has a chamber inside the res to keep all the air out of the fluid.

Are you talking about the baffle ring they have install almost center of the reservoir, it leaves the res half full and the top half works more like a air cushion above the fluid. Other than that, there's nothing else in there.

the only difference here is the Howe kit comes with a pump so I wonder if it pushes more pressure?

I am liking the ease and cost of the spin off filter kit BUT I am worried that the stock pump may have an issue pushing thru the spin off filter where the magnefine probably allows better flow

I wondered the same thing. At least upgrade the cooler. Cooler oil, longer life.... I hope!

Yes but I would still like to filter it some how. That's why I'm wondering what kind of filter does the OEM one have. I trying to see how far should/can I take it. OEM has filter and all aftermarket (except Howe, which uses its own pump) resi's dont. I wonder if they hider flow too much or if these companies think they are just not needed. I would at least do an inline magnet but would like to have a filter also if it won't hinder the setup. Also I want to do this once and not have to pull it apart. Like most the other custom setups I do, I will slowly do it. Mount it all and make sure I like how it sits and make sure it doesn't interfere with anything else. then plumb it. I want to plumb it once and be done. I agree YJ, other than sloshing fluid best is the biggest enemy here
