Sadly I got the low oil pressure issue

Well I never even thought I would post on this section.

I was stuck on traffic today, I got the low oil pressure warning and truck engine shut off automatically. Had to turn the ignition back on and truck ran again. Oil levels are perfect. I already got the "you shouldn't have bought a Ford" from one of my buddies.

Now I am frustrated, just wanted to vent....

2013 with about 10k miles, running amsoil oil and filter. Good lord...

I had the same problem today. Anyone knows why???

My other Fords have had issues with the sending unit. Let us know what the dealer says.

Sorry to hear about the problem but don't fret; it's under warranty and the dealership will take care of it for you at no cost.

I spent about 3 hours at a dealership yesterday. They ran every check they could think of and no issue was found. The service guy told me that I did the right thing to go into the dealership, at least there is a record of the problem.

I know it is just a truck but I lost sleep over this crap this week. I might try to go for a second check somewhere else for piece of mind.

I hope it's a one time deal because it scared the crap out of me.

Well at least you didn't blow a rod through the block like i did lol. could have been bad gas or just a freak incident. Good luck!
