I'm guessing weight savings for ours trucks would be negligible. A spare tire for the hardcore guys (normally 2 on an expedition) couldn't justify the price of weight savings for the cf fenders.

I'm guessing aesthetics, a stronger alternative for wider fiberglass fenders, or the occasional full trophy race truck that occasionally lurk the forums (money no object cash money millionaires)

I want prepeg CF/kevlar for strength, I hate Fiberglass as it cracks way to easy.

And Wibebody's are used for race cars all the time to fit the larger tires and spacing (Technically the Raptor is a widebody F150)

I think there would be interest. I would recommend making them with the incorporated fender flare to be the same dimensions as the OEM size flares. The Boatec fenders incorporate a flare that is thinner than the OEM flare and in my opinion it doesn't match the bedsides well.

That truck has the Boatec front fenders. I'd like to see the front flares match the OEM rear a little better.
