Gotta love ny winters...my rpg stage 3 was installed for Rausch creek and after a little snow and salt my leaf springs look like there off of a junkyard 67 ford.
Considering sdhq powder coated deavers. Any thoughts?

its hard to keep paint on leaf springs just brush the surface rust off and spray paint them thats what i do after the salt and getting sand blasted

Pull the leaf pack apart and get them powder coated. Why would you buy another set when you have a perfectly good one.

Yea they're gonna rust mine do from time to Time I just sand off the rust an touch it up with paint. But it's your money you can buy a new pair if you'd like.

I had the same issue after SnoBall last year. Then I pulled them off and apart and shot with some Eastwood paint and so far they still look okay.

GBrown1867 also posted something about how he learned that the leaf packs should be serviced, I think, once a year. Remove, take apart, paint and lube them. He stated that after he did that, the performance was better. So the leaf packs need to be serviced regularly.

I don't know if that's true (wouldn't surprise me if it is), but the stock ones start to squeak pretty bad after going offroad. I've found servicing them and using powdered graphite has worked great. Using grease or lube just seems to attract more dirt.
