The RaptorAddict Raptor is now getting a full make over! This beast has been out of the picture since last May due to being used as a prototype guinea pig for a new body kit coming to market. When that'll be done, well, I really don't know. But this tear-down on the truck sparked the window for another upgrade.
The RaptorAddict truck has been through 3 phases already.
Now it's time for Phase 4. This phase will consist of a build that will be versatile for on-road use, travel and comfort, extreme off road use, along with having the ability (with a small amount of extra upgrades) to pass tech for 1800 Class (Sportsman) BITD.
The truck is now at a SVC Motorsports (Special Vehicle Concepts) located in Lake Elsinore, CA. This is a full race shop with the expertise and ability to build a race beast at its FINEST! I am instructing them on what I want done and without any hesitation, they are ready to build! Now, I am no actual pro in building trucks on my own, so they will be using their own professional judgement on building the way I want, but with their own way of doing it correctly.
This will not completely be geared to become a Luxury Performance Raptor, but aiming toward a on big bucket of fun! You will not see 4-linked suspension, nor a front long travel kit. This is an upgrade built to show everyone what kind of upgrades can be added to create a great monster that can be used for daily travel, off road fun, and if pushed a tad more.... off-road racing!
SVC will be having some NEW and INCREDIBLE products coming to market soon, so stay tuned as we add to this build thread.
