Ordered my Master lock Tailgate lock and Pop-n-lock the other day. They both showed up yesterday. Now, Ford just needs to build and ship my truck. :)

I have the McGard also, put I feel the metal band is a bit thin in the gauge department, almost pryable, but I still give it a thumbs up, its a nifty and low priced device that will deter a thief for a bit.

yep that's why they should be used in combination with a aftermarket alarm system , the clamp will only slow them down a bit more ,

well i investigated how this is done with the lock and found that by removing center
two screws on the cover you gain enough access to disable the locking mechanism with one Finger,
the tailgate is very heavy so it will take a big boy to remove or two skinny ones,(keep that in mind if you are confronting a thief)
so my guess is even those with power locks are easy target.
if you ever find those two screws missing it means they almost got you, you could replace them with some kind of security screws or fill the torx hole with epoxy after they are tightened .IMG_1369_zps305bb000.jpg

I was thinking about going with the Master Lock + Jimmi Jammer combination in order to deter thiefs from removing tailgate manually and also try to prevent them from busting through the tailgate lock itself. Has anyone tried this combination and if so what do you think about it?? And I'm assuming that Jimmi Jammer makes a model to fit the Raptor but does anyone know this for certain?? Thanks for the input and opinions! I'm trying to get all of the must-have mods ordered now because I just received word from the dealership that my Raptor should be here in 3-4 weeks (7-8 weeks total wait) which is a lot sooner than I had anticipated!! I'm so freaking excited, haha :)

Thanks for the video. So it looks like you could actually buy 2 of them and put one on each side and be even more protected. Would it work on the driver's side?
