The FRF CHATBOX is up...

As promised, I did not forget about the many requests for a ChatBox on FRF. I think we have reached a point of activity where it will not hurt our post counts and member activity.

However, only FRF Addict users and Supporting Members will be able to view and use the ChatBox.

The ChatBox is a privilege, not a right and this is a test run. I repeat, this is only a test. If members enjoy the ChatBox and it helps to curb some of the off-topic banter in threads, it will stay and we MAY open it up to other members as well.

NO TECHNICAL DISCUSSION SHOULD HAPPEN IN THE CHATBOX. The ChatBox is only for off-topic small talk. To that end, all forum rules still apply in the ChatBox.

If you are found to be abusing the ChatBox feature or discussing technical topics, your ChatBox rights will be removed.

If you have ChatBox privileges but do not wish to see it, you can collapse it or PM me to be removed from using it completely.

You will find the ChatBox at the top of the Forum index page. Your feedback is welcome.

so you can real quick ask the torque specs of the upper control arm bolts in the chat box?

so we have to post-ho it up to 1000 post to use it??

Supporting members should be able to use the chat box without post-hoing to 1000 posts

Lol, it's on the main forum page, or at least that's where it was when I saw it being tested yesterday just after midnight

I had to log out and clear my cookies to see it.
