Just jumped ship on apple and purchased a Galaxy S4.

With my iPhone, I was able to stream my Spotify through my USB. When I try to connect my Galaxy through my USB, SYNC just tells me that "this device does not allow protected content".

Also,

Applink(Spotify) works with iPhone but not with Android?

This is kiiiiilling me! any ideas?

I had nothing but problems with Sync and Android phones. I always blamed the issues on Ford and gave up after it stopped working on my 2nd truck. Much to my surprise, when I finally got an iPhone, everything works perfectly! So ya, I think Ford hates Androids!

Well that right there is enough reason to keep the iPhone! I use spotify through USB too!

Of course, you can likely still play it through bluetooth, right?

Yeah, but the audio quality sounds like complete arse!

It's mainly because Ford had to cater to the majority market, and since everybody and their grandma use Icrap, Ford focused primarily on developing connectivity with that

Uhh, Android has significant market share lead over iOS devices.
The problem is there's 200 different android devices, all programmed differently from their respective manufacturers...

At least with the iPhone, it's the same OS with the same programming across all devices... So it's much easier to adapt to!
