dee zee....im confused

so....ordering the dee zee tailgate assist part number dz43200, which one of these will i receive? i see pics of both depending on where im ordering from. i assume the first pic is the old style?

where did you order from? amazon show the first pic...

Mine looked like the bottom one. Got it on amazon

I have the 2nd one, no issues. Ordered from Amazon about 5 months ago.

I ordered the DZ43200 and amazon showed the 1st pic but I def received the 2nd one. Don't worry about the pic as I am sure is a generic pic. You will def receive the 2nd one.

I have had both. The 1st pic is the old style which I believe Ironman still uses. The 2nd pic is the new style which moves the strut below the tailgate cable. It is a much better design.

so the pics just wrong. thanks. kinda funny oreillys has one thats the same product with a pic of the newer model. when i went to check it out it was the old style.

Oreily's probably had an old one. DeeZee's customer service is top notch and will send you the new style if you happen to get the old style. That's what happened in my case, I bought the mine 6 months before they came out with the new style. I called them and a replacement was sent to me, I still have the old one.
