I haven't had mine in the salt yet. I hope they don't turn to shit like that when I do. I may have to put better paint on them.

I don't think paint will help you if the metal they are made with is that crappy, best of luck

Result of bad finish and the sand blasting effect from salt pellets and Michigan's sand/gravel mixture from the Snoball?

The front tires can still throw it forward into the back of the housing. You should see all the sand that rinses out from behind my front bumper near my fogs.

I keep looking at the pics. It looks like salt corrosion to me. Not something all their lights would encounter but certainly should be built to withstand given the trucks they are going on. Didn't affect the light bars because they aren't getting bombed with road salt.
